Job Description
NAOVI is seeking a casual On Call/Part-Time Journeyman PSAC Instructor who will be responsible for instructing unclassified virtual courses via MS Teams for half-day courses; four hours of instruction for five days each month there is a course. Courses will run every other month; 20 hours per month when teaching; up to 10 hours preparation in the off months to review and update materials. The part-time instructor would be online the entire course to answer questions when not teaching.
Primary responsibilities:
- Provides dedicated virtual instruction and facilitation for NCSC-SSD.
- ALL Candidates must currently possess an Active TSSCI w/CI polygraph.
- Supports SSD training programs to train all levels of personnel across the IC, federal government, and private sector.
- Administers experiential learning experiences/simulations.
- Works with ISDs to continuously revise lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.
- Coordinates with Training Administrators on class arrangements, conducts training classes, and facilitates training classes.
- Keeps abreast of technical knowledge, skills, and abilities relevant to the subject matter.
- Leverages innovative technology, methods, materials, and techniques to improve course interactivity.
Education and Experience:
- Requires a minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA, Minimum of 7 years with PhD, will consider 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree. Required
- Requires demonstrated expertise in personnel security adjudication.
- Previous experience as an Instructor in the Intelligence Community. Preferred
