Description
The Contracts Admin is responsible for various tasks, including conducting legal research, drafting, and reviewing documents / contracts, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, preparing for meetings, and organizing and maintaining files and correspondence.
What you'll do :
- Negotiate and draft contracts, amendments, certificates, and resolutions on behalf of NES, including those related to construction, supply, project financings and asset sales
- Manage, analyze, prepare, and log all contract-related correspondence and notices with contractors, suppliers and subcontractors and monitor compliance with contracts.
Oversee the subcontracting process with our procurement departments and generate value by building out these processes further
Assist with the coordination of due diligence.Assist Director with legal entity management (renewals, amendments, registered agent services, etc.)Coordinating closings for project fundings, sales and acquisitions with financing and commercial partners.Liaise with Corporate support functions such as Development, Finance / Accounting, Sales and IT and Technical support functions such as Construction, Engineering, Quality Control and Project Management.Assist with file retention of all applicable records within the respective transaction and internal data rooms.Support Commercial and Project Teams and the Legal Department during the entire life cycle of contracts from limited notice to proceed to final completion.Assist Director with ordering COIs for project insurance coverages and adjusting at various staging of financing to account for new additional insureds, certificate holders, status changes such as from builders’ risk to operational, as well as changes in coverage requirements due to new 3rd party requirements.Manage monthly builders’ risk reporting to insurer and supporting interdepartmental coordination in fulfillment of annual renewals.
Any miscellaneous administrative support required by the Director or driven by departmental / company objectives.What you'll need :
3-5 years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator or similar role dealing with clients, communicating with external vendors and managing a high volume of documentationExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft O365.Able to effectively communicate across various disciplines and with contract counterpartiesDetailed knowledge of legal requirements involved in contracts, including compensation, invoicing, lien waivers and change processes.A background in commercial transactions, finance or renewable energy.A passion to expand skill set and expertise and assume additional responsibilities within a rapidly growing solar and energy management business.Exercise a high-level of attention to detail while also being adaptive to the rapidly changing demands of a high-growth environment.Preferred Experience :
