iOS Design Engineer (SF)

Novel Technology Services is seeking an innovative and talented iOS Design Engineer to join our team in San Francisco. As a key member of our design and development group, you will work closely with product managers and developers to bring our ideas to life for iOS applications. Your role will involve collaborating on the design and development of elegant and intuitive iOS user interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience. You will be responsible for translating wireframes and prototypes into functional code while leveraging the latest iOS design trends and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement engaging and user-friendly iOS applications.
• Write clean, maintainable code and conduct comprehensive testing of applications.
• Stay updated with the latest iOS trends and technologies to improve design and development processes.
• Participate in brainstorming and design discussions, contributing to overall product vision.
• Work with the development team to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
• 3 years of professional experience in iOS application design and development.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C, along with experience in UIKit and SwiftUI frameworks.
• Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Solid understanding of mobile design principles and best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries integration.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks for iOS applications.
• A portfolio showcasing previous design work and successful iOS projects.
