Duties
- Represent clients in litigation proceedings, including trials and hearings.
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis to support case strategies.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
- Prepare for court appearances by organizing case materials and evidence.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting cases.
- Provide clients with clear communication regarding case progress and legal options.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Experience in family law, patent law, or securities law is preferred.
- Strong skills in legal research and drafting.
- Proficiency in using legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on client advocacy.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple cases.
