About the Role:
Novelis Ashville Manufacturing Facility is seeking a skilled Maintenance Tech II to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our production line.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and performing repairs. They will also be responsible for setting up new machinery and equipment, performing skilled tasks such as welding, and participating in the continuous improvement process.
- Handle the planning, layout, and construction of workstation tables, conveyors, platforms, and other work aids to improve ergonomics, safety, and general working conditions
- Maintain basic mechanical and electrical knowledge and be able to read and interpret prints, diagrams, drawings, schematics, programs, and operating instructions
