Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembler to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly process, ensuring that products are constructed efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This position requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively on an assembly line.
Essential Functions
- Maintains an organized workspace including needed tools, supplies and inventory parts.
- Assembles parts, subassemblies, and final products by following technical instructions.
- Notifies Supervisor to obtain additional resources or resolve assembly problems. Advises supervisor of missing parts, forecasted shortages, workmanship failures and other concerns.
- Follow company safety guidelines and procedures.
- Follow company guidelines to work within ERP and time keeping system.
- Test fires and inspects final products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality.
Assembler I – Entry level. Logging in and out of jobs accurately. Learns and performs basic tasks under close supervision while exercising minimal discretion. Demonstrates ability to learn and master new assembly tasks. Achieves productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (certificate or associate degree from technical training institute is desirable).
- Manufacturing experience, including assembly and is comfortable using a variety of hand tools is preferred but not required.
- An understanding of basic safety and firearms knowledge.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
