Database Administration:
- 5 years of experience in a DBA role, configuring and supporting multiple database platforms (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle).
- Experience in provisioning, upgrading, and tuning database services.
- Familiarity with provisioning new database services, especially for production deployments.
- Ability to provide guidance for efficient application design using database managed services.
- Involvement in tuning exercises affecting application performance.
- Review DDL prior to deployment if requested by the application team, without managing DDL on behalf of the application team.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in a DBA role, configuring and supporting a wide range of database platforms (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server).
- 5 years of experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $60.18 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
