What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Material Handler | Hand Stocking (1PM - 9:30PM) position at Novo Distribution?

Position Summary
The person in this position will be responsible for ensuring the product is restocked throughout the warehouse. This is a second shift (1:00PM - 9:30pm) with an hourly rate of $17.50
Essential Responsibilities
- Restock by moving products into bins while checking the quality of the stock and tallying the bundle for system accuracy.
- Check the product for bad/defective pieces and identifies appropriately; note the number of bad pieces on the tally for updating the system.
- Operate motorized equipment (i.e., tuggers,) as needed for the efficient and safe movement of stock and materials.
- Remains aware of possible hazards and maintains a safe work environment.
- Maintains a clean work area, sweeping, rebinding loose bundles, etc.
- Other duties may also be assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
- Must be able to perform all essential functions, including physical requirements
- Must be able to physically handle awkward product lengths and lift to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Basic math skills, interpersonal/team skills, and reasoning skills are also required
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment.
