Full-Time Linen Distribution Technician
Location: Northside Forsyth Hospital
Pay: $17.25 per hour
Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Off-Site Linen Distribution Technician to join our team at Northside Forsyth Hospital. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in decision-making, quick to act, and possesses strong communication skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Transport clean linen in covered carts to designated hospital areas.
• Collect soiled linen and transport it safely in covered carts.
• Verify linen quantities and maintain accurate inventory.
• Address and resolve client concerns professionally.
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors regarding any linen quality or client issues.
• Build strong customer relationships through reliable service and support.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and hospital standards.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with operating equipment and other departmental duties as needed.
• Adhere to Joint Commission Standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 1-2 years in healthcare, manufacturing, or a similar field preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to push or pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer skills with a willingness to learn new applications.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing, walking, bending, and reaching overhead throughout the shift.
• Lifting and handling items up to 50 lbs or more.
• Pushing and maneuvering rolling carts up to 250 lbs.
