Internship Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Mechatronics Intern to join our engineering team. This internship offers hands-on experience in mechanical design, electronics, automation, and programming. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and a passion for robotics and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, prototyping, and testing of mechatronic systems.
- Work with sensors, actuators, microcontrollers, and PLCs for automation projects.
- Program and troubleshoot embedded systems (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar platforms).
- Design and analyze mechanical components using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Fusion 360).
- Collaborate with engineers on control systems and automation solutions.
- Conduct research and development on new technologies and integration methods.
- Assist in assembling, wiring, and troubleshooting electromechanical systems.
- Document findings, test results, and project progress.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with programming languages.
- Basic knowledge of electronics, circuit design, and microcontrollers.
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360).
- Understanding of control systems, automation, and mechanical components.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with industrial automation (PLCs, SCADA, HMIs).
- Knowledge of machine learning, AI, or IoT applications.
- Hands-on experience with robotics or 3D printing.
