Title: Special Education Teacher
Location: Columbia, MD
Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm Monday- Friday
Job Description: We are looking for a passionate teacher for a full-time position in Baltimore, MD for the 24 - 25 school year. You will be working with our special population students primarily focused on autism (ASD) or other emotional disabilities. Provide special education students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth; develop or modify curriculum and prepare lessons and other instructional materials to match student ability levels; provide direct services to students with an autism spectrum across a variety of settings.
Qualifications:
Must:
-Bachelor’s Degree
-Experience working with children
-Desire to work with special needs students
-Positive attitude and willingness to learn
-Valid Maryland Special Education Teaching License (**New Grads Accepted**)
Plus:
-Prior teaching experience preferred (3 years)
