Responsibilities
- Operate standup forklifts to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload products from trucks and containers with precision and care.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory movements accurately.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety protocols.
- Engage in heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
Experience
- Previous experience operating standup forklifts in a distribution center or warehouse environment is mandatory
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of HACCP and OSHA safety regulations related to forklift operation is essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
- Experience with crane operation is a plus but not required.
