How You'll Perform the RoleThe FP&A Intern will be supporting the Director of FP&A with monthly reporting packages for company leadership reviews, building out and/or maintaining Power BI database for centralized division reporting, and reviewing Business Unit forecast accuracy.
Must be willing and eager to learn!
Potential Projects:
- Build out and/or maintain Power BI database for centralized division analytics. Leverage database to drive insights and automated dashboards/reporting.
- Build out and/or maintain Business Unit forecast accuracy report, providing insights to drive greater accuracy.
Review monthly consolidated division forecasts for variance vs. budget, prior forecast and prior year
- Team player, positive attitude
- Very interested in financial space with a desire to develop a career in the field
- Capacity for problem solving and demonstrated multi-task capabilities. Ability to innovate and simplify current processes and practices
- Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excel experience including pivot tables, functions and equations necessary
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
Preferred majors:
Rising Juniors or Seniors preferred with a focus in Accounting or Finance
