Join us as our new EHS Specialist!
In this role you'll make an impact by :
- Supporting the development and improvement of safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Providing training to ensure that employees understand and adhere to the protocols
- Participating or lead safety investigations using structured problem-solving tools
- Leading the site's safety team
- Conducting regular inspections and assessments of workplace conditions, equipment and practices to identify areas for improvement and to ensure ongoing compliance
- Analyzing safety data of, hazardous incidents and near misses to proactively identify trends, measure progress and report key metrics
- Evaluating potential safety impact of new processes, changes in process, equipment & software and conduct reviews of proposed capital projects
- Collaborating cross functionally and cross regionally to communicate and address safety matters
