Join us as a Project Manager - Engineering

This position is primarily responsible for CapEx projects at our global production facilities and administration sites. The position has a high influence on several assigned projects in the region. This position will work within a Global Engineering organization of approximately 80 people locally and in Denmark, United Sates, Brazil, France and Germany, supporting both local and global business initiatives. The primary focus of the role is in the Americas region.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

• Leading project management for CapEx projects in the Americas Region, with costs ranging from 200 t.USD to 5 m.USD.
• Aligning scope with Operations teams, global colleagues, and the full project team.
• Proactively managing schedules and ensuring integration with project deliverables.
• Coordinating, supervising, and directing internal and external suppliers, contractors, and consultants.
• Planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for projects.
• Auditing onsite construction for safety and quality control, and creating accountability within the team.
• Optimizing engineering projects at local and global production facilities.
• Staying current with industry developments and incorporating innovations into the engineering function.

To succeed you must hold:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field and 7 years of experience. Knowledge about a multitude of engineering and technical disciplines. Experience in construction of various technical objectives in manufacturing environments.
• Experience of a minimum of 3 years with Project Management demonstrating skills in schedule, scope and budget management. Possess result and decision oriented project management skills, have good business acumen, and have good communication skills in order to deal with customers. Experienced in project management of CapEx. Preferred to have Project Management certification such as PMP.
• Leadership to set direction in the project and develop a cohesive team to achieve results.
• Possess strong verbal, written, communication, analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Team player with project and change management experience who can easily adapt to a dynamic environment. Experience with business problem solving, conflict resolution, influencing others and change management.
• Possess contract management skills in relation to suppliers, contractors and consultants. Experience with FIDIC contracts is a plus.
• Ability to work in local and global cross-functional environment.
• Experience and knowledge within a process-driven manufacturing environment is preferred. Familiar with Up/downstream processing, Drying processes, Powder handling and packaging lines, Food or Pharma facilities or Hygienic and aseptic design (CIP/SIP).
• Proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, CAD is required.
• Must be able to keep up-to-date with new developments in plant engineering techniques, machines, equipment, materials, etc. and incorporate the innovations in the engineering functions.
• May require travel up to 15%. Willingness to support international projects is a plus.
