As our Cheddar Expert it will be your responsibility to support customers on existing products within North America.

We develop and support the application of cultures and enzymes for our cheese customers all over the world. We aim at making a difference for customers and for our colleagues. Our core competences bring the best ingredients solutions to our cheese customers and assist them with our application expertise. Training of the sales team and a working partnership with our customers are a part of our daily life. The global department has 50 competent and experienced employees located in Denmark (Hoersholm), France (Arpajon) and US (Milwaukee).

In this role you'll make a difference by:

• Advising our customers and colleagues how to best use our cultures and enzymes with adjusting of the Cheese technology to reach the desired Cheddar quality with respect to composition, ripening characteristics and functionality.

• Performing troubleshooting at customers and creating solutions

• Planning, executing and documenting trials

• Hands-on work in the cheese pilot facilities and laboratories

• Drive and perform Application competence development activities - locally and by participation in networks with colleagues from all over the world.

• Prepare and conduct presentations, seminars and training of internal as well as external customers.

• Traveling to customer sites and internal meetings 60% of the time (domestic and international).

To succeed you must hold:

• PhD or Masters degree in a dairy focused program

• 4 years of experience working specifically with Cheddar technology in an application-based environment.

• Demonstrated compentence in design and execution of projects and experiments

• You are excellent at creating strong relationships built on trust and credibility.

• You love travelling and being in the field with our customers.

• You are ambitious, initiative-taking and you see opportunities, based on your ability to prioritize tasks and projects, to support our customers across North America

• You are always looking for ways to develop yourself and to maintain your knowledge at the expert level.

• You are a good communicator both verbally and in writing, have multicultural understanding and you are proficient in English and preferably a second language.
