The Novonesis R&D Summer Internship Program Overview
Internships last for 12 weeks and require a 40 hour per week commitment. This is a non-exempt / hourly position based on the rate of $20 / hour. Summer internships start in May or June when the academic term has been completed. To be considered for a summer internship in 2025, you must have Junior / Senior university class standing by Fall 2025, and you must apply for the internship by February 15th. Recent graduates may also apply.
Research and Development Internships
We will hire 1-2 software interns and 3-4 laboratory interns (see separate job ad) in 2025. Data Science interns will be assigned to work directly with a researcher in one of the following areas :
Multi-omic data Integration
Data science
Bioinformatics
Multivariate Statistics
Genomics and NGS screening assays
Molecular biology
Next-generation sequencing
In these positions you need :
To be enrolled in a B.S. degree program in Micro / Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Statistics or a related concentration
Hands-on coding experience in Python or R
To be ready to learn!
