Join us as our new Lab Technician II
In this role you'll make an impact by:
Ensuring that our laboratories operate efficiently. The incumbent will be responsible for general lab support which includes washing and sterilizing glassware as well as making laboratory media. Lab assistants perform additional tasks such as stocking supplies, shipping, purchasing, receiving and other related duties as required.
To succeed you must hold:
- A bachelor's degree, an AA degree or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of experience or a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Have experience making laboratory media and solutions (preferred)
- Possess mainstream computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Share Point, Teams) are essential.
- Comfortable use of commonly used word processing, email, and spreadsheet software (mainly Microsoft tools) is required. Candidate will be trained on using custom apps and databases to fulfill the lab service tasks.
- Have strong written, verbal communication skills.
- Pay close attention to details with the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team environment.

Expected salary range:$40,000 - $57,000 annually
