The Deputy Chief Engineer will lead a technical team overseeing project delivery system design and implementation for the GSMOII program. This hybrid role involves providing strategic guidance mentoring staff and ensuring alignment on technical priorities. The position requires strong leadership cloud expertise and experience in managing largescale technical projects.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Technical Leadership : Guide a virtual team analyze customer requirements and develop system specifications. Advise on hardware / software requirements and feasibility studies.
- Team Management : Lead mentor and develop technical professionals managing team budgets and performance metrics.
- Project Management : Oversee GSMOII project transitions define technical priorities manage risks and drive continuous improvement.
- Customer Engagement : Present technical solutions to senior customers maintain key stakeholder relationships and ensure successful program implementation.
- Strategic Planning : Evaluate and implement new technologies develop strategic plans and pursue innovation opportunities.

Location : Ft. Meade MD (Hybrid) This position is primarily remote; however candidates must be within commuting distance to Ft. Meade MD. Up to 15% travel to customer sites when necessary.
