Job Description
Primary Responsibilities :
Address end-user issues as Tier II tickets escalated within ITSM.
Install patches and perform routine maintenance for security and O&M requirements.
Monitor systems for anomalies and perform root cause analysis.
Document all changes to test, operational, and cloud environments per customer and DoD practices.
Implement Engineering Implementation Plans (EIPs) for change control processes and system enhancements.
Maintain compliance with all DoD security requirements.
Collaborate with other IT disciplines to resolve user and system issues.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years of experience in operational Linux environments. Additional logistics experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
DoD 8570 IAT II Certified.
Active TS / SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly.
Required Experience :
Creating, modifying, and troubleshooting end-user accounts.
Experience with REDHAT Linux and variant operating systems.
Proficiency in shell scripting and Linux CLI environments.
Experience using shell scripting for repeatable processes.
Working knowledge of SELINUX and intermediate expertise in its configuration and maintenance.
Familiarity with Ansible for securing operating systems and maintaining CM baselines.
Knowledge of AWS cloud environments.
Ability to automate tasks through basic scripting languages (e.g., Bourne, Korn, Python).
Implemented security measures compliant with DoD regulations.
Managed, created, and modified filesystems.
Experience installing Linux operating systems.
Detailed understanding of CLI basics.
Preferred Qualifications :
Prior experience with DISA and its support to mission partners.
TS / SCI with CI Poly preferred.
Red Hat Linux certification.
AWS Certifications.
