The Auto Glass Technician will be responsible for providing the highest quality of service and standards of workmanship when repairing, replacing, or fitting vehicle glass, providing other company services and products and provide superior customer service and sales conversion. Responsibilities include repairing, replacing, and installing windows in motor vehicles and analyze, troubleshoot, dismantle, align, assemble, and adjust mechanical equipment for glass removal, repair, or installation. The Auto Glass Technician will also actively support the management of the service center and take responsibility for its administrative tasks as required.

Job Duties
· Repair or replace glass and related materials such as windshields, back glass, passenger door glass and heating elements on vehicles while consistently meeting or exceeding Novus Glass technical standards.
· Replace or adjust motorized or manual window-raising mechanisms.
· Examine glass for defects prior to installation.
· When necessary, cut glass according to specified patterns, or perform precision pattern making and glass cutting to custom fit replacement windows.
· When necessary, shape or smooth edges of uneven glass.
· Effectively manage, and take accountability for service center stocks (planning, ordering, loss reduction and checking).
· Seek and identify all opportunities to increase sales (add on products) and further develop the business of Novus Glass®.
· Consistently and strictly adhere to company Health and Safety procedures using the safety equipment provided.
· Other related tasks as required.

Requirements
· High school diploma or the equivalent.
· At least 2 years of direct experience in the automotive glass repair and replacement industry preferred.
· Exceptional attention to detail.
· Strong communication skills in person and on the telephone.
· Be available to work a flexible schedule.
· Be able to drive company vehicle to complete the tasks independently at the client’s site, where required.
· Must have a valid driver’s license.

Working Conditions
· Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs
· Travel to off-site locations may be required
· Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
· Overtime as required
· Hazards associated with the trade
· Working both indoor or outdoor may be required

Salary and pay to be negotiated based on experience. Commission and job bonuses available. 1099 or W2 positions available.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
