Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of automotive glass components. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience with various automotive systems, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install and replace automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows.
- Utilize power tools and equipment to perform tasks efficiently and safely.
- Conduct repairs on damaged glass using appropriate techniques and materials.
- Work with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to ensure proper calibration after glass replacement.
- Assist in auto body repair tasks as needed, ensuring all work meets industry standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks related to glass components.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Automotive Glass Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with auto body repair processes and techniques is a plus.
- Experience with window tinting and assembling automotive components is desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance or as a mechanic are beneficial.
- Previous work experience in a dealership environment is advantageous but not required.
