Summary
This ONSITE TEMPORARY position is responsible for the department’s Boarding of loans to our Sub-Servicer Cenlar, Mortgage Insurance Activations, and the MERS process to ensure MERS compliance and investor guidelines and regulation requirements. Additionally, responsible for assisting the Collateral Team with scanning of files in Encompass, Final Documents, and document shredding and other miscellaneous tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Board loans for servicing to our Sub-Servicer, Cenlar, within the department’s required time frames.
- Register Loans with MERS and complete Transfer of Servicing and Beneficial Rights to our investors within the department’s required time frames.
- Conventional Loan MI Activations.
- Process closed loan packages for Collateral Team and communicate with title companies to request missing documents and/or correct defective documentation.
- Scanning files in stacking order in the LOS system.
- Shred paper documents, as needed.
- Process and/or request final documents from title companies and send to investors.
- Maintain department standard daily production and quality rate for this position.
- Support the mailing of transfer letters to investors.
- Collaborates with counterparts and manager to streamline the Post-Closing Specialist process.
- Works independently and prioritizes work while meeting pre-established deadlines.
- Assists with other aspects of the Post Closing/Loan Delivery process on an as needed basis.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Notary in the state of Wisconsin is preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent

- Excellent phone, written communication, and customer service skills.
- Strong Mathematical skills.
- Ability to deliver effective results and to meet deadlines.

This position is temporary from May to August, onsite in Brookfield, WI, working 40 hours per week. There are no health/dental/vision, etc. offered for this position. Pay will be based on experience, ranging from $22.00 - $26.00 per hour.
