About the Role:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join their finance team. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining the overall integrity of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will be experienced in end-to-end accounting, accounts receivable/payable, financial reporting, and balance sheet reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform end-to-end accounting functions, including A/R, A/P, invoicing, and periodic follow-ups.

Manage the general ledger, income statement, and balance sheet reconciliation.

Handle allocations, projections, cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

Process payroll transactions and oversee employee expense reimbursements.

Assist with new hire financial onboarding, including I-9 processing.

Maintain and update 1099 and W2 forms.

Generate quarterly and annual forecasts.

Work across various states, ensuring compliance with different tax and financial regulations.
Must-Have Qualifications:

Strong GAAP financial knowledge

Proficiency in QuickBooks

Advanced skills in Excel

Experience with balance sheet reconciliation

Ability to update and manage annual forecasts

Excellent client relations and bedside manner

3 years of accounting experience

Prior experience working in the software industry
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 (based on experience)
