Compensation: $150,000 - $185,000

Job Summary:

As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will oversee all financial operations, ensuring fiscal integrity and long-term sustainability. This leadership role will drive financial strategy, regulatory compliance, and effective grant management, supporting a community where everyone is valued and empowered to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, OMB Uniform Administrative Requirements, and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Drive financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting to support organizational goals and growth.
- Develop and maintain financial policies, internal controls, and reporting systems.
- Oversee Medicaid billing and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and timely reporting.
- Supervise and provide leadership to the Controller and finance team.
- Manage grant activities, ensuring compliance with grant/contract regulations and reporting requirements.
- Lead fund management efforts, focusing on unrestricted funding and effective grant reporting.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and the Board to develop and execute the organizations annual budget and long-term financial strategies.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Maintain communication with regulatory agencies, funding bodies, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- 5 years of financial leadership experience, including grant/fund accounting (required).
- 8-10 years of experience in CFO or senior financial leadership roles (required).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, regulatory compliance, and nonprofit/government financial reporting.
- Experience with grant and fund management, including handling unrestricted funding.
- Familiarity with financial regulations, fund management, and compliance requirements (preferred).
- Experience with Abila & Paycom (preferred).
- Proven track record in strategic financial planning and long-term forecasting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with experience mentoring finance teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with senior leadership, the Board, and external partners.
- Experience managing nonprofit financial operations, including unrestricted funding (preferred).
