GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
NOW CFO is working closely with our client in the Non Profit Health Space to hire a Chief Operating Officer. The Chief Operating Officer (COO), will report to the CEO, will lead and enhance Client's internal systems and infrastructure to support its mission. As a key member of the leadership team, the COO will manage various operational areas including Finance, HR, IT, Development, Marketing, Compliance, and Facilities. The role demands a strategic leader with strong management skills, capable of fostering a high-performance culture and positive staff morale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO, aiding in organizational planning and development. Implement systems to boost efficiency and support growth, focusing on financial planning and talent management.
- Operational Management: Direct daily operations, ensuring infrastructure supports effective and scalable operations. Oversee risk management and compliance, ensuring adherence to regulations.
- Financial Oversight: Guide the CEO on fiscal improvements, manage finance and accounting functions, and collaborate with the Board's Finance Committee.
- Team and Culture Development: Mentor and supervise staff managing internal systems, fostering a culture that attracts and retains top talent.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in business, accounting, or nonprofit management, or equivalent experience; CPA preferred.
- Must have experience in non-profit management and senior roles across finance, operations, and HR.
- Healthcare industry experience is a strong preference for this role.
- Strong strategic, financial, and human resource management skills.
- Proficient in technology and project leadership, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage confidential matters with discretion and work effectively under pressure.
