The Role
NOW CFO is assisting our client in seeking an experienced Senior Accountant- Specialist to specialize in commission and inventory accounting while serving as a backup senior generalist. You will help improve accounting processes, from month-end close to implementing smarter tools.
Responsibilities
- Commission Accounting: Calculate and track commissions, analyze deal profitability, and create compensation plan projections.
- Inventory Accounting: Manage inventory records, analyze manufacturing costs, and refine cost accounting procedures.
- Generalist Accounting: Lead month-end close, prepare financial statements, and oversee accounts payable/receivable.
Qualifications
- 5 years of accounting experience, including 2 years in public accounting and 2 years in industry.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (CPA or equivalent preferred).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in problem-solving.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with tools like QuickBooks Online and Salesforce.
