Position: Staff Accountant
Location: North Charleston, SC
Schedule: Onsite, Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000
Job Summary:
NOW CFO is partnering with a distinctive and highly regarded cookware manufacturer to find a skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, and expertise in NetSuite. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Perform month-end close tasks, including bank reconciliations and all account reconciliations including monthly journal entries.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including sales tax filings.
- Establish and adhere to accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Provide support during yearly financial review by external accounting firm.
- Manage ADP payroll functions.
- Provide inventory support and related accounting tasks.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of accounting experience.
- Experience with NetSuite (highly preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- CPA or CPA candidate (preferred).
