Salary Range: $135,000 - $165,000 annually Bonus & Equity
NOW CFO is assisting our client in the automotive and operations sector in recruiting for a full-time, permanent Vice President of Finance. This role is pivotal for driving financial strategy and operational excellence within a family-owned, growth-oriented business.
About the Role
The Vice President of Finance will report directly to the CEO and Board of Directors and oversee the Finance Manager. This position will play a key role in managing financial operations, compliance, and strategic projects. This is an opportunity for a leader who thrives in a hands-on role and is passionate about building teams and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide financial management and leadership to drive business growth.
- Oversee project and operational finance initiatives.
- Ensure compliance and reporting standards are met.
- Engage with stakeholders to align financial and operational goals.
- Manage and develop a high-performing finance team.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proven experience in a controller or similar leadership role.
- Public accounting experience and familiarity with QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Experience reporting to private equity firms, institutional lenders, or M&A teams.
- A "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude with a hands-on approach to leadership.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- CPA or Masters degree.
- Local to Ocala, FL, or willing to relocate.
- Automotive industry or operational experience.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a focus on authenticity and honesty.
