ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Distributes labels for production runs onsite and creates shipments for offsite runs based on planned production and forecast.
• Puts labels away coming back from Manufacturing, Private Label and Receiving post production.
• Ensures that label counts match Oracle Inventory levels and reconciles discrepancies.
• Transfers (Oracle) labels that are released from QA (from Receiving) to the controlled Label areas.
• Assists with cycle counts on labels.
• Rotates and maintains the stock (FIFO).
• Prevents unauthorized personnel from entering the label rooms.
• Keeps the Label areas clean and organized.
• Identifies potential quality or quantity problems and notifies supervisor.
• Completes administrative project work as assigned.
• Serves as back-up to other members of label group.
• Complies with safety and GMP requirements.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Experience in manufacturing environment, preferably food or pharmaceuticals helpful.

COMPENTENCIES

• Ability to organize workload and multi-task to ensure all tasks are completed on time.
• Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Intermediate mathematical skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as batch records, product specifications, departmental instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and assume responsibility for new tasks in a rapidly growing and changing company.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Must be a self-starter and be able to handle multiple tasks, and able to communicate and work with others to complete assigned tasks.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach, stoop and ascend/descend stairs. This includes working on safety ladders/movable stairs of up to eight (8) ft. high to stock and retrieve label rolls; reach and hold with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift up to 53 lbs. from 6 inches off ground to shoulder height, Push and pull 30 lb. force at 36 inches, and operate a hand truck to transfer skids of labels throughout the plant. Specific vision requirements for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

• As required, works in a loud area that requires hearing protection and other protective equipment to be worn.

• Frequently exposed to vapors, airborne particles and/or herbal aromas.
