Litigation Attorney (Workers' Compensation)
West Palm Beach, FL - (Hybrid / Onsite)
Schedule flexibility available with a Senior Attorney who commutes to the office.
Compensation : $120,000$160,000 base salary
BONUS STRUCTURE :
Unlock lucrative tier-based commissions from closed files (for instance, close 15 files a month and earn a remarkable $9,000 bonus quarterly!). Key Responsibilities :
- Immerse yourself in the world of litigation by shadowing Senior Partners during depositions as a vital part of your training.
- Engage in thorough case briefings and debriefings with Senior Attorneys and Partners.
- Possess a strong grasp of Chapter 440, with the ability to adeptly cite workers' compensation law in quality depositions.
- Become proficient in utilizing virtual hearing platforms to accommodate clients seamlessly.
- Navigate the technology essential to law practice, such as case management software and video conferencing tools (including TEAMS and Westlaw for legal referencing).
- Provide steadfast legal defense against insurance carriers for claimants asserting workplace injuries under Chapter 440.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of testimony and scrutinize claimant histories for inconsistencies and behavioral patterns.
- Cultivate and expand your existing client base by attending events, networking with carriers, and identifying cases worthy of intake.
- Generate business by leveraging the firms extensive and dynamic network with nearly any insurance provider in Florida.
