This is a ___ position. Responsibilities: May serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing their insurance-related inquiries and concerns. Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their insurance needs and providing solutions. Use discretion and judgement to interpret policy language and communicate changes in coverage to the insured. Identify opportunities to expand existing clients’ insurance coverage or offer additional products. Facilitate the issuance of new insurance policies, ensuring accuracy, and completeness of documentation. Re-market existing policies as necessary due to non-renewal or to obtain more competitive pricing and/or coverage for the insured. Solicit cross-sale and account rounding opportunities for all lines of business Negotiate with carriers on behalf of insured to respond to their questions and/or issues. Review and analyze clients’ existing insurance policies to ensure they have adequate coverage. Work with producers and account management team to identify gaps in coverage and recommend appropriate policy adjustments or enhancements. Be accountable for all aspects of the renewal management process, including agency invoicing when necessary. Assist clients in the renewal process, including preparing and presenting policy renewal options. Generate proof of insurance upon request on behalf of the insured. Process policy changes, endorsements and cancellations as required. Document all correspondence regarding the account in agency management system. Always keeping detailed records of client interactions and policy changes. Assist clients in the claims process by providing guidance and acting as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers. Monitor the progress of claims to ensure timely resolution. Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate client files and documentation for audit purposes. Prepare and present regular reports on client accounts, including policy status, revenue generated, and retention rates. Provide insights and recommendations for improving client satisfaction and retention. Ensure client and policy data is current and is captured according to Company standards. Any other function as established/directed by management Qualifications: Education – High School Diploma/GED Required Certification – Insurance License as required by the state. Required Job Skills – One-three years insurance experience required. Prior experience with Vertafore products/AMS360 (agency management software) preferred. Proven experience in the insurance industry, account management, or a related role preferred. Strong knowledge of insurance products, policies, and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Customer focused with the ability to build and maintain relationships. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite. Prepare professional form letters, write clearly, edit work for spelling and grammar, ability to read and interpret written information. Perform all job requirements, consistently produce quality work, complete tasks accurately and on time, prioritize and plan work assignments, use time efficiently to meet productivity standards and commitments. Take responsibility for own actions and be responsive to coaching from other team members and department manager.
