Job Description
We are seeking a talented Doctor's Technician to join our team. As a Doctor's Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service to all patients while facilitating sales and fostering a strong partnership between our retail and clinical services teams. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Greeting our patients and customers as they enter the store, identifying their needs to ensure an easy and memorable experience while providing promotional products and services available.
- Fostering a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
- Scheduling and confirming appointments, entering new patient history and personal information in the system, completing pre-tests; obtaining brief medical history, completing non-contact tonometry auto-refraction, visual acuity, color test, stereopsis test, Amsler grid test, etc.
- Assisting Management Team with patient complaint resolution and informing the status of all jobs; ensuring all patient expectations are met.
- Ensuring brand standards by performing basic housekeeping duties when necessary.
- Executing simple customer repairs, assembling lenses into frames and edge stock lenses to expedite delivery of eyeglasses, and ensuring customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.
- Ensuring brand standards are met in the lab area, and notifying management of equipment malfunctions, incomplete orders, incorrect lenses, etc.
- Keeping track of delivery time commitments to patients (Now Service, Ready When Promised) to ensure 100% compliance.
