In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong partnerships with colleges, universities, and trade schools to attract top emerging talent for field engineer internships, co-op programs, and entry-level craft positions across the country-laying the foundation for our future workforce.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a passionate and driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent Team and help shape the future workforce across all Nox Group operating companies: Corbins, RMCI, and Nox Innovations. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong partnerships with colleges, universities, and trade schools to attract top emerging talent for field engineer internships, co-op programs, and entry-level craft positions across the country-laying the foundation for our future workforce.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with trade schools, apprenticeship, and pre-apprenticeship programs including but not limited to WECA, IEC, NTI, ABA, and GCU.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with colleges and universities with a heavy emphasis on construction management and engineering undergraduate degrees.
- Plan and attend on-campus recruitment events, job fairs, information sessions, and classroom presentations to promote the company’s brand and career opportunities.
- Coordinate and participate in interviews, selection processes, and onboarding activities for interns and entry-level hires.
- Execute and continue to innovate our college recruiting strategy, aligning with the hiring needs and demographics of the enterprise.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs across all project sites.
- Develop marketing materials and digital content to support campus recruiting efforts.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure success and improve future efforts.
- Serve as a point of contact for students and recent graduates, providing information, support, and guidance throughout the recruitment process.
- During the off season this individual may be responsible for recruiting on craft or professional roles to support the organization as needed.
- Prior experience in recruitment, preferably with a focus on college or early-career hiring a plus, but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with the construction industry is a strong plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Comfortable speaking to large groups and with various audiences.
- Willingness to travel to high schools, trade schools, college campuses and other career events.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience with recruitment advertising platforms such as Handshake, Linkedin Recruiter, and applicant tracking systems (ATS) a huge plus.
