What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Director - GEORGIA RESIDENT, Collaborating Physician, Supervising Physician position at NP Collaborator?
NP's and PA's are branching out and becoming entrepreneurs starting their own specialty practices in a variety of settings.
Georgia allows NP's to have their own practice, but must be under physician supervision (collaboration). NP Collaborator is a matching service for NP’s and PA’s to find a collaborating physician across the U.S. We make it VERY EASY for you to be a collaborating physician with these NP/PA entrepreneurs and you can earn (nearly) passive income.
How do you become a collaborating physician with NP Collaborator?
1. You create a compelling profile on our site and set the monthly fees you wish to charge.
2. NPs and PAs create a description of their practice and what they need in a collaborator.
3. Our algorithms match 3-5 physicians that are the best fit and present them to the NP/PA. They choose which one to interview based on the presented profiles and monthly fees.
4. After the interview, the NP/PA and physician make a mutual decision to contract for collaboration.
Commitment:
Typical physician commitment is one video call a month – usually less than 30 minutes. Physician must also be available for a quick consult if the NP or PA has a question. Georgia requires a review of 10% of the charts. Most physicians report they spend about ONE HOUR or less each month per collaboration.
We handle the legal agreements, the compliance paperwork, we provide the medical malpractice insurance to our physicians and make it easy for you to participate and make between $250-$500/month per NP/PA you collaborate with.
You may work with several of our NPs/PAs as your time allows increasing your income.
If interested, you can review details on our site NPCollaborator.com/physician and sign up directly. Or “apply” for the job and we will set up a zoom introductory call.
