Responsibilities:
Effectively use provided equipment - including vacuums and cleaning solutions
- - to clean customer homes
- Clean all surfaces in the home - everyroom, including fans, blinds, light fixtures, baseboards, fixtures, counters, showers, toilets, cabinets, and floor
- Clean pet eating areas, trips to groomers, clean litter boxes for our cats and soon to add a dog
- Ability to clean floors on hands and knees in kitchens and bathrooms
- Vacuum/Mop all stairs, carpet, hard surface floors, and furniture
- Making beds and straightening the home
- Washing dishes - loadingin unloading dishwasher and making sure all dishes are clean
- Laundry of each family member and taking clothes to dry cleaner when needed
- Move all reasonably moveable furniture to clean under and behind
- Carry all cleaning products and equipment to and from office, vehicle, and customers’ homes
- Assist in keeping supplies stocked and maintaining equipment
- Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable, and on time
- Define menu and prepare meals by cooking or following recipes as directed
- Grocery shopping, inventory management of food and household supplies Organize and maintain the pantry, refrigerators and kitchen areas
- Previous housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites
- Ability to read and follow cleaning instructions
- Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment
- Ability to withstand regular physical contact with dog and cat hair, mold, dust, mildew, and cleaning solutions
