Video Production Specialist – NP Strategy

This position at NP Strategy is ideal for individuals with demonstrated, hands-on experience in video production. Ideal candidates will have experience creating content from start to finish : from strategic planning and scriptwriting, to shooting and editing final products for a variety of channels. This person should be comfortable working alone or within a small team and seek to refine their skills while actively contributing to a dynamic team’s success.

Client Support :

Collaborate closely with NP Strategy client service teams to provide exceptional video production services, including :

Assisting in the development of messaging, talking points, and visual storytelling concepts for client projects.
Developing scripts / approaches for client videos and campaigns that align with strategic messaging
Shooting high-quality video content on location or in-studio to meet client needs.
Editing video projects to create compelling, polished final narratives.
Producing content for clients' and NP Strategy’s digital platforms, including social media and websites.
Supporting client engagement by :
Managing and creating multimedia content for newsletters and social media channels.
Overseeing updates to video content for websites, brochures, and external communications.
Conducting research to support video and content strategy.
Assisting with event coverage, including live streaming and video documentation.
Attending client calls and providing creative input on video-related projects.
Maintaining a teachable spirit and actively seeking opportunities to learn and grow in video production and strategic communication.

Team Support :

Actively participate in NP Strategy team meetings and contribute to collaborative projects.

Work with team members, including coordinators and interns, to balance workloads and meet deadlines.

Manage marketing opportunities, including creating video content for blog posts, podcasts, webinars, and internal initiatives.

Be flexible and available for after-hours work when required to achieve client or project goals.

Professional Development :

Utilize professional development funds to enhance video production skills and stay up-to-date on industry trends.

Support NP Strategy’s business development efforts through video-related proposals and networking opportunities.

Key Qualifications :

Demonstrated ability to tell a story from start to finish – conducting an in-person interview, developing a narrative, and delivering content that exceeds client expectations.

Experience filming with production quality cinema cameras (Canon C-series / Sony FX line / RED) while maintain a small production footprint, sometimes working as a solo operator.

Experience in drone operation, Part 107 FAA certifications a plus.

Familiarity with professional audio and lighting techniques.

Strong technical understanding of professional-grade video editing software and tools (Adobe CC Suite, DaVinci Resolve, etc.) and a desire to stay on top of developments in the market (artificial intelligence, cloud-based workflows, etc.)

Experience working within PC / Mac ecosystems.

Ability to work with a variety of personalities to understand client needs and expectations, and work within established budgets to meet their goals.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
