This person will lead a team of 5-7 Applications Engineers for a $150M division of a 5B global diversified manufacturer. This is a fast-paced position that will serve as the lead go-between between sales / customers and engineering. We seek a project-oriented professional who will be in charge of not only existing product lines but making changes to existing product lines to enhance overall customer experience and end-user products.Select Responsibilities : Manage the Applications Engineering Team supporting all customer interaction.Ensures the team is responsive to customer related requests.Manage the expense budgetEnsures the team takes corrective action for customer quality / performance issuesBuild new business case for potential opportunitiesProvide input on the development of new products and existing product line changes Qualifications : QualificationsBachelors Degree in an engineering related field strongly preferred2 years of management experience5 years of engineering related experienceStrong project management experience and skills requiredFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement initiatives preferred.Knowledge of blending / mixing / extrusion processes preferred Why is This a Great Opportunity :
