- Job Description
- Serve as a client-facing Cost Consultant, providing strategic, tactical, and technical advice throughout all project stages, collaborating with clients and consultants.
- Conduct feasibility studies, produce procurement reports, and develop ROMs for new and pipeline projects to establish project budgets.
- Manage day-to-day cost activities on medium-large scale projects, including procurement, pay requests, change management, and cost reporting.
- Apply value management techniques early in projects, integrating existing protocols and systems.
- Oversee the procurement process, ensuring effective pre-qualification, enquiry, evaluation, selection, and contract preparation.
- Manage post-contract cost variances, change control, cost checking, valuation, and the production of monthly cost reports for client presentations. Qualifications :
- Relevant Degree (MSc, MBA, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field) A professional qualification such as MRICS is advantageous.
- 2 - 4 years experiencein a Cost Consultancy role, with experience managing life science, industrial manufacturing or other capital projects.
- Strong commercial and financial understanding, with the ability to manage budgets, perform cost analyses, and track financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex cost information to clients and stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner. Why is This a Great Opportunity :
