Job description : Lead Network Architect / Engineer |Full-Time (Direct Hire)|Hybrid workschedule (3 days in office / 2 remotely)|Orlando, Florida, Lakeland,Florida or Miami (Kendall), FloridaIn this role, you will provide network architecture leadership andguidance in a large enterprise environment. You will lead a team of 2Network Architects.This "hands-on" position requires experience as a Network Architect andEngineer. This is a large network environment consisting primarily ofJuniper networks.Analyzes, designs, and develops technical solutions (interfaces,performance tuning, utilities, or diagnostics) to technical and businessproblems. Provides level 3 and 4 technical support.Performs capacityplanning to predict usage trends for upcoming hardware / software needs.Makes recommendations to management for systems and supportinginfrastructure purchases. Coordinates and evaluates data circuit ordersand reviews monthly billing for discrepancies.Duties & Responsibilities : - Leads a small team of Network Architects with day-to-day andlong-term tasks.- Set priorities and goals for the team and individuals. Provideconstructive feedback to team members.- Provides Level 3 & Level 4 technical support and administration fornetwork-based operating systems such as Cisco IOS, Juniper Junos, F5load balancer, and Infoblox NIOS.- Provides Level 3 and Level 4 technical support and administrationfor Routing and Switching, DNS and DHCP, and network load balancing- Develop, define, and create best practices processes for Networkinfrastructure, Data Circuit technologies, and WAN design.- Participate in a regular on-call rotation to provide 24 / 7 support- Designs and administers security practices to meet variousregulatory and policy requirements- Acts as subject matter expert (SME) for all Network; Load balancerrelated activities.; DNS and DHCP related activities; and Wireless,Circuit, and WAN designs.- Coordinate & participate in service / support needs with vendors,technical support, application support, and infrastructure support.- Test and deploy security patches to identity systems to helpmaintain PCI, SOX, and other regulatory compliance requirements.- Maintains, analyzes, and troubleshoots the various and computeinfrastructure to ensure all services are optimally structured toprovide defined service levels for : o Uptimeo Stabilityo Performanceo Quality- Performs capacity planning and ensures thatoptimum levels areachieved, sustained, and consistently improved.- Develop automation scripts and custom scripts for support,monitoring, and metrics gathering- Assist with circuit orders and monthly billing reviews.- Performs on-call support every 5th week.- Qualifications : - BA / BS in technology or related degree or equivalent technicalcertification and experience- At least 8 years of Network engineering / architecture and (level 3& 4) technical support experience- Experience leading other network professionals (assigning tasks,mentoring, etc.)- Experience as a Network Architect in a large enterprise environment(global experience preferred)- Strong technical experience with routers, switches, firewalls,wireless, WAN design, SDWAN, DNS, DHCP, and Load Balancing- Must have deep knowledge of BGP, and OSPF- Experience performing capacity planning to predict usage trends forupcoming hardware / software needs- Ansible for network automation- Bash and / or Python scripting experience- Ability to perform on-call support on a rotational basis- Juniper certification preferredU.S. Citizens or Green Card holders only, please.
