- Position Type : Full TimeOffice : Hillsborough, NJSalary Range : $ 100,000 to $130,000 annuallyPosition Description : Municipal client representation as Township or Borough engineer Municipal meeting attendance Project management to review development plans for conformance with local ordinances, including subdivision and land development, zoning, grading, stormwater, escrow accounts, construction administration Project engineering design for stormwater and detention basin, and infrastructure rehabilitation, various state and local permitting Technical writing of reports such as technical memos, feasibility studies, and engineering assessment and design reports Construction support services, such as contract administration, project coordination, permitting, and budget management Prior experience with municipal account management in either a primary or backup role Retention and development of Client relationships Perform business development to help facilitate growth in the area of municipal and utility engineering Qualifications : Requirements : B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent 10 years experience Experience with Municipal Engineering, Municipal Client Representation, Subdivision and Land Development Plan and Stormwater / Drainage Plan Review, MS-4 Programs (including PRPs) on behalf of municipal clients, and Public Works Design Some AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred Registration as a Professional Engineer in NJ is required. CME registration is preferred Strong written and oral communication skills.
