Job description : The Senior Mechanical Project Engineer will provide design of machinery and equipment used in steel manufacturing. Develop and improve upon designs and conduct mechanical analyses .
- Design new machinery and equipment utilize in steel mill environments.
- Create mechanical drawings, calculations, sketches, for on-going projects.
- Develop specifications / requisitions for support of purchasing activities
- Review and approve purchasing quotations, vendor drawings, and QA documents.
- Analyze designed and vendor supplied equipment for adherence to engineering specifications, required codes & standards, and project requirements.
