Job description : Our client is seeking a
- Senior Revenue Accountant
- to join their
- growing global blockchain company that IPO'd in 2024.
- The ideal candidate will have very strong revenue recognition under ASC 606 and be able to quickly apply their knowledge to the company's financial processes.If you like to build, improve processes and have a thirst to do more this is a great role. The environment will be dynamic, fast moving and you'll be able to work across the business building technical accounting skills and leadership.

- Key Responsibilities
- Manage monthly revenue activities, including the close process and reconciliations for deferred costs- Record journal entries to reflect revenue, deferred revenue, assets, and accrued receivables in the financial records under ASC 606- Manage client invoicing, fixed asset (capitalization, depreciation, and impairment), and equity accounts- Develop and implement internal controls and support audits- Constantly look for process improvement opportunities and add value to the team as the company growsIf you want to be part of rapid growth - organic and acquisition this is a great role!
- Qualifications :
- Must Haves :
- 4 years of accounting and GAAP experience, including monthly close and financial statement preparation
- Top 10 Public Accounting Firm Experience - this is a non-negotiable
- Exceptional Revenue Recognition and ASC 606 Experience - this is not a learning' role - come in and be part of building out processes
- Preference is CST / EST
- Big Plus Factors :
- Netsuite ARM
- Experience is a combination of public accounting and industry
