POSITION SUMMARY:
The Financial & Commercial Analyst will be familiar with data aggregation, analysis, and presentation as it relates to the following processes: budgeting, financial reporting, return on investment capital, and customer/product profitability concepts. This position will provide analysis that ensures management decisions are grounded in robust and meaningful analytics in line with the business objective of delivering growing profitability.
POSTION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monthly financial reporting to senior management.
- Analyze financial reports for variances, calculate KPI’s and provide feedback.
- Prepare and analyze customer and product profitability reporting.
- Prepare and analyze quarterly royalty statements and tax calculations.
- Work directly with the Sales organization during customer specific quote development for existing and potential new products.
- Generate ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
- Perform other support duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or statistical analysis
- Minimum 4 years of comparable analysis experience
- Familiar with cost accounting concepts
- Advanced problem solving and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize assignments/projects within tight time constraints in order to meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Good business sense – ability to identify issues, structure the problem & present results.
- Ability to work effectively with people across different levels and functions.
- Proficient in MS Excel and SAP (or other Tier 1 ERP system)
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form to ensure effective presentation of information.
