Job Description
- Manage all bookkeeping and accounting functions for the firm.
- Record cash deposits and pay invoices using QuickBooks Online (approximately 300 per month).
- Conduct check runs for over 300 checks per month.
- Perform cash account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with attorneys to negotiate liens with medical providers, insurance companies, and other entities.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal reporting policies.
- Work closely with the firms leadership and external accountants to support financial operations.
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably in the legal industry.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including debits, credits, and general ledger management.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
