Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and configuration of subassemblies and systems, including end-of-arm tooling, automated conveyors, and fixtures.
- Support automation engineers in troubleshooting and maintaining automated systems to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Work individuallyon smaller automation projects.
- Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to support automation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Assist in performance monitoring and data analysis to optimize system efficiency and quality.
- Help with the specification and selection of automation equipment, including mold robots, conveyor systems, and auxiliary machinery.
- Provide technical documentation for automation processes, including system schematics, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings to discuss automation opportunities and process enhancements.
Qualifications:Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-5 years of hands-on experience in automation, controls, or manufacturing engineering.
- Basic understanding of automation systems, robotics, PLCs, and industrial sensors.
- Experience with CAD software for designing automation components.
- Some exposure to PLC programming, robotics, or motion control is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and data analysis.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and production teams.
