We are currently seeking a talented, full time Procurement Manager for Life Science and Industrial Manufacturing projects.
Job Description
- Oversee the procurement and management of work packages, collaborating with package managers and reporting to the project commercial lead.
- Manage subcontract packages from tendering to final account, including preparing tender documentation and administering tenders.
- Implement cost control systems, manage client and subcontract changes, and provide risk and opportunity reporting to protect margins.
- Enhance project profitability through value engineering, cost reduction measures, and proactive risk mitigation.
- Operate as part of a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and alignment with project goals.
- Contribute to net-zero carbon transition by identifying and managing carbon emissions and reductions throughout project delivery.
- Degree in commercial management or a related field.
- Proficient in MS Office tools and experienced in subcontract profit and loss reporting.
- Skilled in establishing cost control systems, leading value engineering initiatives, and preparing monthly commercial reports.
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with proven experience collaborating with stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Commitment to sustainability and social responsibility while effectively managing monthly commercial processes.
