We are currently seeking a talented, full time Senior Planning Manager for Life Science and Industrial Manufacturing projects.
Job Description
- Lead key assignments, providing strategic direction and ensuring delivery aligns with overall objectives; act as the primary contact for client relationships and executive engagement.
- Convert client vision into actionable onsite plans, ensuring that project planning and scheduling strategies are implemented according to client specifications.
- Develop and evaluate master schedules using Primavera P6 for mega projects, including detailed commissioning, validation, and qualification schedules.
- Perform probabilistic, critical path, and schedule risk analyses, identifying schedule deviations, bottlenecks, and proposing corrective actions to mitigate delays.
- Work effectively with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project schedules are accurate, complete, and updated regularly.
- Prepare and update progress reports for clients, monitor schedule-related data, and actively communicate potential project issues that may impact the timeline.
- Relevant degree or extensive experience in planning and scheduling for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects, with a focus on large-scale life sciences and manufacturing projects, including commissioning and validation activities.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and understand engineering, procurement, and construction schedule logic.
- Skilled in producing logic-driven schedules from limited project data, creating conceptual schedules, identifying dependencies, and managing project timelines from initiation to closeout.
- Proficient in using Primavera P6 to develop master schedules, detailed commissioning/validation schedules, resource-loaded schedules, and management overviews, with the ability to create look-ahead reports and analyze critical paths.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders across all project stages.
