About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust IT infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments. This role involves overseeing networking, server systems, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity efforts to ensure operational stability, security, and scalability. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and deeply knowledgeable in modern infrastructure practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network components including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
• Design and enforce security standards across cloud and on-premises systems
• Maintain and monitor server environments with a focus on stability, performance, and security
• Resolve infrastructure issues across networking, server, and cloud platforms
• Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation for environment automation
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation and provide infrastructure support
• Develop secure, scalable environments in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Participate in planning and executing infrastructure upgrades and long-term strategy

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fieldor equivalent practical experience
  
  

Experience

• 10 years in infrastructure or network engineering roles
• Strong experience with hybrid and cloud environments, especially Azure
• Proven background in enterprise IT and infrastructure projects
  
  

Technical Skills

• Deep knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, VLANs, BGP, SD-WAN)
• Skilled in Windows Server administration and virtualization technologies
• Expertise with enterprise-grade firewalls and security principles
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Experience with cloud-native networking and infrastructure as code tools
  
  

Certifications

• Preferred certifications include AWS Solutions Architect, CCNA/CCNP, Azure Administrator
  
  

Soft Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
