Job Description
- Operate and maintain grinding machines to create or repair precision tools and components.
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to meet exacting standards.
- Perform manual milling, boring, drilling, and tapping to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Operate manual lathes for turning, boring, and threading tasks.
- Measure and inspect materials using tools like micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
- Set up and adjust equipment for optimal performance and precision.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with equipment maintenance, including cleaning and replacing worn parts.
- 3 years of experience in tool grinding and manual machining.
- Proficiency in manual milling and lathe operations.
- Ability to read and work from blueprints with strong attention to detail.
- Skilled in using precision measurement tools.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime and occasional Saturday shifts.
- Eligibility to work in the United States (U.S. citizens or permanent residents only).
- Competitive hourly pay starting at $24.74 plus a $0.90 shift premium.
